The Merkaba Explained In Depth
The Mystical Merkaba from the ancient Hebrew scriptures is translated by rabbi to mean a ‘chariot’ or ‘vehicle of light’. Christian Mystics translate the Merkaba as the ‘Throne of God’. In the biblical book of Ezekiel, reference to this vehicle was described as the throne-chariot of God, described as a four-wheeled vehicle driven by four angels, each of which having wings and the four faces of an ox, eagle, lion and man. It is an etheric construct designed to protect the riders’ consciousness, which takes the form of a star tetrahedron.
There is a distinct three dimensional pattern created by Merkaba referred to as Metatrons Cube. In Ancient Egypt, this primal pattern was called the Mer-Ka-Ba. It was not one word, but actually three. Mer meant a violet luminescent energy that rotated within itself, Ka meant human spirit and Ba, the human body. The entire word in ancient Egypt referred to a rotating light that would take the spirit and body from one dimension to another.
In modern esoteric teachings, such as those presented by research and experimental physicist, Drunvalo Melchizedek, it is taught that the Merkaba is an inter-dimensional vehicle consisting of two equally sized, interlocking tetrahedra of light with a common center, where one tetrahedron points up and the other down. In medieval Christian and Jewish mystical folklore, this is referred to as Metatrons cube, the vehicle of light used by Archangel Metatron to ascend to heaven and walk with God. In his books, researcher and physicist, Melchizedek describes this figure as a “Star Tetrahedron”, since it can be viewed as a three dimensional Star of David. But angels aren’t the only ones who can use the Merkaba. Initiates of the TIMEWHEEL may activate this vehicle to safely travel the higher realms. By imagining two superimposed “Star Tetrahedrons” as counter-rotating anchored at the base of the spine, along with specific breathing techniques that increase your prana (like breath of fire), certain eye movements and mudras, it is taught that one can activate a non-visible, energetic ‘saucer’ shaped energy field around the human body and travel to the astral planes. It will appear as a visible vehicle in the astral realms.
Depending on the size of the person activating the Merkaba, this field created will become about 17 meters across. Once activated, this ‘flying saucer’ field is capable of carrying consciousness directly to higher dimensions. There are 18 breaths in the exercise. The first six are for balancing polarity, while the next seven enact proper pranic flow throughout the entire body. Further breaths shifting the consciousness from 3rd to 4th dimension and with the final three breaths crystalize the rotating Merkaba within and around the body. The 18th breath is not taught. Once a day, enter this meditation, until you are consciously breathing, remembering with each breath your intimate connection with love and the divine.
The Merkaba, or divine light vehicle, is used at will by Ascended Masters to connect with and reach those in tune with the higher realms. When activated the Merkaba will surround the astral body with counter-rotating fields of light, (wheels within wheels) which transports the spirit from one realm to the next.
